The Ottawa Senators signed defenseman Jake Sanderson to an eight-year, $64.4 million contract extension, the team announced Wednesday. The deal includes a 10-team no-trade clause that will apply to its final three seasons.
Sanderson was the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old logged 32 points (four goals, 28 assists) in the 2022-23 season.
