Rams WR Puka Nacua ejected after throwing punch in second quarter vs. Seahawks

Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua was ejected after throwing a punch at Seattle Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson near the end of the first half on Sunday at Lumen Field.

The incident happened after Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen intercepted quarterback Matthew Stafford on a contested throw intended for Nacua downfield. After the play, Dodson and Nacua got into a skirmish before Nacua swung at Dodson.

The Seahawks immediately capitalized on Woolen’s takeaway and the shift in momentum with a 46-yard pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and then a 24-yard touchdown again to Njigba to go up 13-3 by halftime.

Nacua exited Thursday’s practice with a knee injury after hitting it on the ground, but was cleared for Sunday’s game. He returned from injured reserve in Week 8 against Minnesota after spraining his PCL in the same knee in Week 1.
