Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua broke the NFL record Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers for most catches in a player’s first two games of a season. Nacua’s 22 catches in Weeks 1 and 2 eclipsed the mark of 19 set by the 49ers’ Earl Cooper in 1980. Here’s what you need to know:
- Nacua a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft caught 10 passes for 119 yards in Week 1 in the Rams’ win over the Seattle Seahawks.
- His 22 catches also lead the NFL after two weeks.
