NFL Week 15 odds, spreads, schedule: Bills-Lions is near pick'em, Ravens own biggest spread of the year

NFL Week 15 brings a full slate, the year’s largest point spread on the odds table, and a wafer-thin point spread in what could be a Super Bowl preview. We’ve got odds for every matchup, plus the schedule and broadcast info below.

Bye weeks are over as the playoff picture comes into focus, and that playoff picture gives a glimpse into two alternate Super Bowl possibilities: Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bills vs. Lions is nearly a pick’em, with a spread hovering around one point. Josh Allen will take his MVP-level play to Detroit, where he is looking to start a new win streak after a loss in Week 14. But the Lions are not the matchup you want for a get-right game. Detroit is on an 11-game win streak and tied with the Chiefs for the top of the league. Hype is rising for a Bills-Lions Super Bowl, and fans should be locked in for a taste of what could be — and what should be one of the best games of the regular season.

A less-hyped but still thrilling Super Bowl-level matchup sees the 10-3 Steelers in Philly against the 11-2 Eagles. The Eagles are rather comfortably favored with a 5-point spread as of Monday afternoon. Some might say too comfortably favored. The high-flying Eagles had a hiccup in Week 14, narrowly escaping with a win over the Carolina Panthers. (More on the rising Panthers in a moment.) Still, Philly has played like a true Super Bowl team for several weeks. The Steelers, meanwhile, hold a two-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens in their division but have a difficult schedule that makes this game critical for their future seeding — especially considering the Ravens lost to the Eagles in Week 13 but have a slightly softer schedule ahead.

That slightly softer schedule for Baltimore includes a Week 15 matchup with the largest spread of the season so far: The Ravens are 15-point favorites over the tanking New York Giants, who just lost to the bruised New Orleans Saints in Week 14. Is that spread a little too rich? Tough to say: The Ravens are coming off their bye week and playing to catch the Steelers but are likely more focused on their matchup with Pittsburgh in Week 16. But then, the Giants are 2-5 against the spread at home this season.

Looking for more playoff stakes? How about the first game of the week? It should come as no surprise for anyone who has been paying attention this season that one of the most pivotal games of Week 15 occurs in the NFC West. Thursday night, the Los Angeles Rams — fresh off slamming the door shut on the Bills’s seven-game win streak — hit the road to play the San Francisco 49ers. The 7-6 Rams are one game behind the lead in the NFC West, but all four teams are still within just two wins or losses of each other. The 6-7 Niners are somehow still favored in this matchup, though they are one of the more banged-up teams in the league.

Another NFC West team fighting to keep their position is the 8-5 Seattle Seahawks. They lead the NFC West by one game but are home underdogs to the 9-4 Green Bay Packers this week.

Week 15 ends with two Monday night games, the more exciting of which sees the Chicago Bears travel to play division rivals the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings were one of the best-looking teams in Week 14 (and not just because of their endlessly clever touchdown celebrations) and are in striking distance of the top of the NFC North. They are touchdown favorites at home over the 4-9 Bears, who have lost too many heartbreakers this season, including a 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings in Week 12.

The closest game of the week pits the Carolina Panthers (-1) against the Dallas Cowboys. Carolina has the longest against-the-spread (ATS) win streak in the NFL, 5-0 ATS since November 1. Their fragile favored status vs. the Cowboys breaks a 33-game streak as an underdog.

Week 15’s closest games (of a field goal or less) are Panthers (-1) vs. Cowboys, Lions (-1.5) vs. Bills, 49ers (-2.5) vs. Rams, New York Jets (-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans (-3) vs. Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers (-3) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Packers (-3) at Seahawks.

Week 15’s biggest spreads (of a touchdown or more) are Ravens (-15) at Giants, Washington Commanders (-7.5) at Saints, Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) at Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals (-6.5) vs. New England Patriots and Vikings (-6.5) vs. Bears.
