Hello all,
In the past, we have asked you what pieces you might like to read on The Athletic and we are doing so again as part of the Inspired By You series.
It’s been another tumultuous campaign at Old Trafford. The season started with Erik ten Hag at the helm after triggering a one-year extension to his contract in the summer, extending his deal to 2026, but damaging defeats to Brighton, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham saw him sacked in October. United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy improved morale during his brief caretaker stint before Ruben Amorim came in from Sporting CP.
But in reality, not much has improved as United continue to toil in their new head coach’s 3-4-3 system.
Off the pitch, it was hoped the era of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s part-ownership would take shape but the departure of Dan Ashworth as sporting director brought scrutiny. Further decisions such as increasing ticket prices and making cuts across the club have also raised eyebrows.
Oh, and there was the whole Marcus Rashford situation, too.
So now is your chance to let us know what else in United’s world you would like us to look at, and what you would like to read.
We’ll choose the best one to write a piece on in the next month or so.
