Justin Timberlake Sells Undeveloped 127-Acre Tennessee Plot for $8 Million

Justin Timberlake just made a solid profit on his 127-acre Tennessee property, almost a year after first listing it for $10 million. The “Suit & Tie” singer ended up getting $8 million for the scenic parcel when it sold last month, Mansion Global reports. Though the multi-hyphenate ultimately parted ways with the property for a discounted price, Timberlake snagged the undeveloped land for just $4 million in 2015.

The sprawling plot, located near a village outside of Nashville called Leipers Fork, is reportedly protected to maintain its undeveloped state. Among the grounds are rolling pastures, three ridges that overlook the surrounding valley, horse riding trails, a fishing pond, and meandering creeks.

Timberlake was reportedly inspired to buy the land with words of encouragement from his creative director, Trace Ayala, who grew up with the “SexyBack” singer in a Memphis suburb. “We were touring everywhere, and lived in LA, and it was so far from where we’d come from,” Ayala told The Tennessean in 2015. “I think now that we’ve found this place and landed here, we’ve kind of settled things back down.”

The longtime friends opened Millville, a creative space inside an old house in the tiny town, around the same time. The venue hosted their clothing line, William Rast, and music development company, Villa 40. More recently, the space has been offered as a short-term rental.

Timberlake, who is currently on a world tour following the release of his album Everything I Thought It Was, made headlines last week when he was arrested in the Hamptons for a DWI. “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now,” the former *NSYNC member said at a Chicago concert last Friday following the arrest.
