The layer of a woman’s petticoat closest to their skin was known as, “le secret,” so French perfume brand Parfums de Marly sought to incorporate a secret ingredient in this fragrance. Composed with top notes of Bergamot, mandarin, and white peach, heart notes of orange flower, mahonial, nympheal, and vetiver, and base notes of akigalawood, ambrofix, and vanilla. “This new launch highlights the duality of the brand as fresh but sensual, delicate but diffusive and contemporary while still evoking universal sensation and an essential vision of femininity,” shares the brand in collection notes.
