While the Disney Treasure will have some things in common with its sister ship, the Disney Wish, Sharon Siskie, the senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, shared the Disney Treasure will bring new stories to life and present a one-of-a-kind adventure for guests. When you walk onto the Disney Treasure, you will be warmly welcomed into the Grand Hall. That sets the scene for the whole experience in, well, grand style. Every Disney Cruise Line ship’s entry hall is themed to a Disney film, and this one is reminiscent of the gilded palace and beauty of Agrabah from “Aladdin”. Not only is this the place where you begin your journey on the ship, it’s one where you will likely spend time in for entertainment, hanging out with your fellow travelers, and other special surprises.

Experience A Stunning Attraction At Sea – AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg
As Disney Cruise Line’s own attraction at sea, AquaMouse: Curse of the Golden Egg is an immersive experience that both adults and children are welcome to enjoy. It brings cruisers into the jovial world of Disney animated shorts.

This ship’s ride is centered around a brand-new storyline for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they search for treasure in an ancient temple. The two-person ride vehicles carry guests from the upper decks through 760 feet of winding tubes. Along the way, they can enjoy views of the ship and the ocean below.
Disney Theme Parks Inspiration On The Disney Treasure
For the first time ever on a Disney Cruise Line ship, some elements from Disney theme parks were incorporated into some special spots and attractions. There’s the Tomorrow Tower Suite that was inspired by EPCOT, the beloved, science-forward Walt Disney World theme park.
The themed lounge called Skipper Society will bring to life the funny, classic Jungle Cruise attraction from Walt Disney World. Then there’s the Periscope Pub that’s inspired by Walt Disney’s 1954 film, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”.
New Dining Experiences Inspired By Walt Disney Animation Studios And Pixar
The worlds of Disney and Pixar will come to life for guess with two new entertainment-rich eateries. Plaza de Coco provides a theatrical dining experience themed to the beloved movie “Coco”. Guests will sit at tables that surround a stage where they can watch performances and show effects, and they will enjoy two completely dinner dining experiences here during their cruise. Like all Disney Cruise Line restaurants, they will happily accommodate vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free diners, and those with other dietary needs.
Jumbeaux’s Sweets is a decked-out sweets store on board the ship that will feature characters from Disney’s “Zootopia.” The overall atmosphere is joyful with pink all over and a Victorian-style architecture. It will include vegan-friendly options!
How Are The Staterooms On The Disney Treasure?
The Disney Treasure will offer 1,256 staterooms. That’s including 53 concierge staterooms and 23 concierge suites. Most of these accommodations will have ocean views. More specifically, there will be 1,133 outside staterooms and 123 inside staterooms.

Like all Disney Cruise Line staterooms, the ones on this ship are built with families in mind. Many offer the option of a connecting door for families who are traveling together. Guests will be treated to artwork and special design touches that were inspired by Disney and Pixar movies such as “Aladdin,” “Pocahontas,” “Up”, and “Encanto”.
Disney Treasure’s concierge level suites are inspired by “The Lion King”.
Those who are planning a luxury cruise will appreciate the concierge-level staterooms and suites. Guests staying there can hang out in an exclusive concierge lounge that has its own private sun deck where they will be served refreshments throughout the day. The concierge-level suites feature design and décor inspired by the interiors inspired by “The Lion King”.
For an even more luxurious experience, the Disney Treasure has four royal suites that were inspired by beloved Disney cat characters from movies such as “The Jungle Book” And “Aladdin”.
Then there’s the Tomorrow Tower Suite, a one-of-a-kind suite that is in the ship’s forward tunnel. It accommodates up to eight guests and has its own private ensuite elevator. The suite was inspired the Walt Disney World Resort theme park, EPCOT and its World Discovery neighborhood. It overlooks the top deck of the Disney Treasure, and guests staying in these ultra-luxurious accommodations can enjoy views of the open horizon through its two-story window.

Which Plays Are Showing on The Disney Treasure?
Disney Treasure’s live entertainment will be plentiful. The primary spot for theatrical productions on board the ship will be the Walt Disney Theatre. Both “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure” will entertain cruisers in the theater, and there will also be a new, not-yet-announced play at sea.

Other live entertainment on board the ship includes the Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party that encourages fun and dancing on the upper decks.
Are There Childcare Options On The Disney Treasure?
Parents can get some much-needed alone time easily on the Disney Treasure. There are options for babies, small children, older children, tweens, and teens. No kid is left out. Just like on every other Disney Cruise Line ship, young cruisers can enjoy Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Edge, Vibe or It’s a Small World Nursery. The Disney-trained counselors watch over children and encourage imaginative play and learning.
How Big Is The Crew?
The Disney Treasure will have a crew of approximately 1,555 cast members, and it will have the capacity to host 4,000 passengers.
