Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has joined Ligue 1 club Strasbourg on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
The Brazil international is currently away at a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament with his country but joins the French club until the end of the season.
Santos, 19, will temporarily join Chelsea’s affiliated club within the multi-club network owned by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Santos is the second player to join Strasbourg from Stamford Bridge this season, after winger Angelo Gabriel made the switch in the summer.
Chelsea recalled Santos from his loan spell at Nottingham Forest earlier this month after making just two appearances.
The Athletic reported in November that Strasbourg held an interest in taking taking Santos for the second half of the campaign.
Santos arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2023 from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in a deal worth £18million ($22.8m), with the midfielder then rejoining the club in March last year.
The midfielder played just seven minutes of Premier League action for Nottingham Forest, during the 3-0 defeat at Liverpool in October.
