The Bucherer x Mytheresa online jewelry partnership
Luxury retailer, Bucherer, has been in the news a lot lately, primarily because of the pending acquisition by Rolex. Bucherer is also partnering with Sotheby’s auction house to open a dedicated 1,700-square-foot space in its Zurich flagship store that combines a traditional luxury retail environment, an auction experience and a place to socialize.
In addition, Bucherer is in the midst of a major U.S. expansion, which included reopening the largest watch store in the country.

During all this, the retailer, known for its luxury watches, has also been expanding its jewelry offerings. Recently, its jewelry brand, Bucherer Fine Jewellery, entered into an exclusive partnership with luxury online retailer, Mytheresa, to provide a selection of the brand’s pieces.
Mytheresa is the first online retail partner for Bucherer Fine Jewellery. Mytheresa is an e-commerce retailer that ships to more than 130 countries. It offers ready-to-wear, shoes, bags and accessories for womenswear, menswear, kidswear and lifestyle products.
Jewels from the Pastello collection
Bucherer crafts its jewels at its in-house atelier in Lucerne. The jewelry brand is known for its refined, elegant jewels using polished white and rose gold sculpted with slender curves and delicate floral motifs. Some pieces are created with dozens of diamonds. Others are set with a range of colored gems such as amethysts, sapphires, aquamarines and lapis lazuli.
The Mytheresa selection of jewels features pieces from three collections. They are:
Bucherer Fine Jewellery Pastello Collection
The Pastello collection features classic designs in rose gold and white gold settings set with pastel-colored sapphires and spinels. All pieces are designed to celebrate nature.
Bucherer Fine Jewellery Peekaboo Collection
The Peekaboo collection presents contemporary designs matched with delicate-colored gemstones such as morganite, aquamarine, amethyst, golden beryl, peridot and prasiolite. The gemstones are cut in a unique emerald cut which optimizes its proportions, Bucherer says. An enlarged diamond pavé set prong gives the pieces its contemporary appearance. The pieces are designed for stacking.
Bucherer Fine Jewellery Rock Diamonds Collection
Crafted in white or yellow gold, the Rock Diamonds collection embodies a modern approach when it comes to wearing diamonds. The signature look is characterized by trapezoid cut diamonds, Bucherer says. It combines diamonds and set elements that intersect, overlap or lie alongside each other to play with ideas of symmetry and asymmetry.

While this is Bucherer’s first online jewelry collaboration, this is the second online collaboration between Bucherer and Mytheresa. Earlier this year, the two companies combined to offer Bucherer certified pre-owned watches from more than 25 luxury watch brands.
