After a strong season last year replacing Tom Brady under center, Baker Mayfield earned himself a three-year, $100 million contract and he’s been worth every penny of that deal so far. He enters Week 5 having thrown for the sixth-most yards in the NFL thus far (984), completing 70.5% of his passes and is second in the league in touchdown passes with eight. Mayfield is 2-1 against the Falcons in his career, accumulating 635 passing yards, six touchdown passes and just one interception.
Kirk Cousins is also in the first year of a new contract after inking a four-year, $180 million in March. Coming off an Achilles injury, the 36-year-old has thrown for 864 yards while completing 64.7% of his passes to go with four touchdowns and four interceptions through his first four games in Atlanta. Cousins is 1-2 against the Buccaneers in his career, throwing for 886 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in those three games.
