Earn 30% Bonus Avios
To earn the 30% bonus Avios, eligible cardholders must transfer American Express Membership Rewards® points to Avios. Here’s how to earn the bonus:
1. Click the ‘Transfer points’ link.
2. Scroll down to British Airways and click “Show Details.”
3. Click “Log In” under the British Airways section and log into your American Express Membership Rewards® account.
4. Link your British Airways Executive Club account (if you haven’t already) and enter the number of points you would like to transfer. You can get one here if you don’t have a British Airways Executive Club account, which is free to join.
Note that the minimum transfer amount is 1,000 Membership Rewards points. Additionally, this offer ends at 11:59 p.m. MT on 08/31/2023, so the transfer needs to be done before then.
While the Avios are generally awarded at the time of transfer, it can take up to 72 hours to complete the transfer. Once Membership Rewards points are transferred, they cannot be transferred back.
