Alunya underway
The new, 164-foot-long Benetti B.Now 50 Meter that just made its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show is significant because it shows that Azimut|Benetti Group Chairwoman Giovanna Vitelli and the creative minds at the UK-based design firm RWD were right.
The innovative “Oasis Deck” concept that utilizes opening wings to increase deck area aft and features a large flush deck pool and panoramic views has been a resounding success since it was first introduced on the Benetti Oasis 40 in 2020.

In fact, Azimut|Benetti Group CEO Marco Valle has the numbers to back that claim up. “So far we have already sold 14 Oasis 40Ms, three Oasis 34Ms, and six B.Now 50Ms with the Oasis Deck.” And the Italian superyacht shipyard had two B.Now 50Ms on display in Monaco.”

I’m not surprised that Alunya, the second model to be launched in the B.Now 50M line with the Oasis Deck was so popular during the show. The exterior styling is by RWD and the shipyard worked closely with the experienced owner on the design and layout of the interior spaces.

With the lounge on the main deck opening out directly onto the Oasis Deck, Alunya’s design does a wonderful job of blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Meanwhile the rest of the main deck is dedicated to the full-beam owner’s suite that includes an office/study, large bathroom, and private balcony. Four guest cabins and five crew cabins occupy the lower deck.
Upper deck
The upper deck features lots of sunbeds aft and an outdoor dining area. A sliding door gives access to the interior lounge. And there are lots of places to chill out up on the sun deck too.

But, I think when it comes to full-on relaxation, it’s safe to say that most owners and guests will have a hard time leaving sun, shade, comfort, and ease of access to the pool and all the water toys that the wide-open Oasis Deck offers.
