Sarah Paulson brings her Malibu mobile home down from $2 million to $1.8 million

After four months on the market, actor Sarah Paulson has brought the price for her Malibu trailer home down from $2 million to $1.8 million. Featured in the March 2023 issue of AD, the one-bedroom, one-bathroom home was meticulously renovated by Paulson with the help of Amy Kehoe of AD100 firm Nickey Kehoe and Jeff Spiegel of Heartwood Construction + Design.

The slightly creamy shiplap-lined kitchen and compact living space serves as a palette cleanser before entering the bedroom, which is defined by an aubergine-toned wallpaper (specifically Tree of Life wallpaper by Idarica Gazzoni from Arjumand’s World). Additional purple hues appear on the home’s exterior (Farrow & Ball’s Brinjal) and in the bathroom, with its paler purple-pink Clé tiles.

Located in the ultra-tony Paradise Cove gated community, the home comes with a golf cart to navigate the neighborhood. Residents gain access to tennis and basketball courts, the nearby Paradise Cove Beach itself, and a clubhouse with views of the ocean. The listing is held by Ren Smith of Coldwell Banker Realty.

Nearly 10 years after the late Helmut Jahn first sat down with Time Equities developers to discuss it, the architect’s final building, 1000M, is complete. Standing at 3,281 feet tall, (or 1,000 meters, hence the name), the 74-story structure is among the 20 tallest buildings in Chicago. Jahn’s career was intimately linked with the Windy City—he designed Terminal 1 at O’Hare International Airport and the James R Thompson Center, among many other notable structures—making the completion all the more significant.

“Recognized as the final legacy project designed by the late Helmut Jahn, 1000M offers a rare and transformative addition to the Chicago skyline, perfectly nestled along the prestigious Grant Park and lakefront,” Philip Castillo, FAIA, the managing director and lead architect at Jahn, told AD PRO by email. “The tower gracefully mediates the timeless historic fabric of Michigan Avenue with the demands of modern high-rise living, while remaining true to Jahn’s vision.”

Developed by Time Equities and JK Equities, units in the luxury rental building are now available and listed through Willow Bridge Property Company. Pricing starts at $2,085 a month for a studio apartment and reaches up to $15,980 a month for a four-bedroom penthouse.
